Petrol and Diesel Prices in the UK.?

I am getting so furious at the cost of petrol and diesel in the UK, I live in an area where the use of a car is essential for commuting as there are only 3 buses a day to and fro my work place, none co-insiding with work hours, there are no trains. To try and cut costs or to be more Environmentally friendly we work car pools. Anyway my question is ……. here it is £1.299 for a litre of Petrol and £1.359 for a litre of diesel. How much is it in your area and is there any sight of the prices being capped?? Ours has risen 8p in 3 weeks for a litre.
It is impossible to bike it here as we live in a rural area 28 miles from work. Although it is far from a refinery, it is here the oil is first brought in from the rigs.

Those prices are crazy…when I left the country everybody was complaining about diesel being 90p and petrol being 88p. Here in Switzerland we have 95-unleaded at 85p and diesel at 82p…and wages are much higher and taxes on everything are much lower…
